Wake up to panoramic views over the bay of Mikros Gialos, across the Ionian Sea towards Ithaca and Kefalonia. Cavos Villa is a modern 4-bedroom villa built around a spectacular 15-metre L-shaped infinity pool — the local Mayor tells us it's the largest private villa pool on Lefkada.

Every bedroom is en-suite, the triple-aspect lounge frames the sea on three sides, and terraces with sun loungers wrap the pool. A shaded pergola with BBQ is made for long lunches; in the evening, the lights of fishing boats drift across the bay below. The ground floor — kitchen, lounge and a twin en-suite with wide doors — is wheelchair-accessible.

Prices are for the whole villa (up to 8 guests), booked direct. Changeover day is usually Saturday or Sunday in peak season. Greece's Climate Resilience Fee (charged per night, March–October) applies by law and is collected at booking.

Cavos Villa sits above Mikros Gialos, a sheltered pebble-beach bay on Lefkada's quiet south-east coast. Waterfront tavernas are a few minutes away; the sailing harbour of Sivota with its famous fish restaurants is one bay over; and the island's celebrated west-coast beaches (Porto Katsiki, Egremni) are an easy day trip.

• The access road is fine for a normal hire car — only very low sports cars should take care.
