This policy explains what personal data The Blue Hour collects, why, and the rights you have over it. We keep it short and honest — the way we try to do everything.
The Blue Hour is a villa-hosting and property firm based on Lefkada, Greece, operated by Charalampos Metaxas. For any privacy question, email our team.
When you send an enquiry, request a valuation, or make a booking, we collect the details you give us — typically your name, email, phone, your message, and (for stays) your dates and guest numbers. We use them only to respond to you and to provide the service you asked for.
Our lawful basis is your consent (the box you tick on our forms) and, where you book, the performance of a contract with you.
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers that help us run the service — our booking & database provider (Supabase), our payment processor (Stripe, for card payments — they handle your card details, we never see them), and, where relevant to a property sale, the registered professionals (lawyer, notary) involved in your transaction. These providers process data under their own privacy terms within the EU/EEA where possible.
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period after, and booking/financial records for as long as Greek law requires. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will act on your request. You also have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (HDPA).
This site uses only the essential cookies needed for it to function and does not run advertising or cross-site tracking. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
