Perched on a hilltop above Poros village, Villa Anatoli has some of the most jaw-dropping sea and mountain views on Lefkada — a truly magical, private retreat with its own pool. “The pictures do not do justice to the location — the views are mind-blowing,” wrote a recent guest.
This is escapism without isolation: beaches and waterfront tavernas are an easy drive down the hill, while up here you share the morning with eagles, hawks, tortoises and the odd passing goat. Gardens of local herbs scent the terraces, and every evening ends with a sunset over the Ionian that belongs on a postcard — “Anatoli” means sunrise in Greek, and the dawn over the mountains is just as special.

Villa Anatoli stands alone on its hilltop above Poros, on Lefkada's peaceful south-east side. The pebble beach and tavernas of Mikros Gialos bay are a short drive below; Sivota's famous harbour-front fish restaurants are 10 minutes away; and Vasiliki, Nidri and the west-coast beaches all make easy outings.
